The National Homeowners Advocate Group, LLC formerly advocating as The Texas Homeowners Advocate Group has formed a coalition which will consist of The Texas Eagle Forum, homeowner communities, organizations, businesses and individuals who are against ALL homeowner/property owner association homestead foreclosures. This is a Constitutional issue, Articles XVI, Section 50 of the Homestead Act.

Houston, TX January, 2011 - The National Homeowners Advocate Group, LLC has made the decision to form its own coalition. The coalition is named The National HAGS Coalition (acronym for The National Homeowners Advocate Group). The coalition is opened to everyone, any organization, any business, any community that is interested in bringing to an end the unconstitutional homestead foreclosures that have been occurring in our communities as a result of homeowner/property owner associations taking advantage of loopholes in the law for more than two (2) decades.

Our mission statement is to protect the Constitution’s Homestead Act, Articles 16, Section 50, and restore it to its original purpose of protecting our homesteads from homeowner/property owner association’s foreclosures. The Constitution has never been amended to permit homeowner/property owner association homestead foreclosures.

Everyone in the coalition is a lobbyist. We all have either been a victim or know a victim as a result of the homeowner/property owner association’s operating through the loopholes in our laws.

The email must state that you or your business or your organization or your community is/are “100% against ALL homeowner/property owner association homestead foreclosures.”
